The YTD34K Series Gantry-Type Hydraulic Presses for the Shipbuilding Industry are specialised machines developed for the shipbuilding and large-scale thick-plate forming industries. They are primarily used for the bending, edge folding and levelling of thick steel plates, as well as for the forming of curved ship outer plating.
The equipment utilises a specially designed modular gantry frame structure, which can be configured according to the user’s process requirements: a fixed ram structure, a structure where the ram and worktable move synchronously left and right, or a structure where the ram and worktable rotate synchronously through 360°, thereby meeting the high-precision forming requirements for large steel plates of varying dimensions and curvatures.
The hydraulic system utilises specialised cartridge-type integrated valve blocks, working in conjunction with a PLC touchscreen control system to achieve precise control of pressure, speed and position, thereby enhancing the equipment’s machining accuracy, stability and level of automation.
