Product Description

Open-die forging hydraulic presses are primarily used for the open-die forging of various metallic materials, and are capable of performing a range of forging processes including upsetting, punching, drawing, finishing and the forming of ring-shaped forgings. The equipment features a high-rigidity frame structure and utilises a hydraulic system to deliver stable, powerful forging pressure, inducing plastic deformation in metal billets to achieve the precision forming of large forgings and high-performance alloy materials.
This product series includes: pull-down forging hydraulic presses, three-beam four-column forging hydraulic presses, and frame-type three-station forging hydraulic presses. The machine body has undergone finite element analysis (FEA) and three-dimensional optimisation design, resulting in high overall structural rigidity and strong impact resistance, capable of meeting the production requirements for large, high-strength forgings. Depending on the user’s specific forging process requirements, auxiliary equipment such as mobile workbenches, die clamping devices and forging manipulators can be configured to achieve mechanisation and automation of the forging process.

Performance Features
1. The machine body utilises finite element analysis and 3D optimised design, resulting in a rational structure, high overall rigidity and strong impact resistance, enabling it to withstand the immense loads generated during the forging of large forgings.
2. An optimised guide structure design ensures stable and reliable ram operation with a large load-bearing area, effectively enhancing the machine’s resistance to off-centre loads and guaranteeing forging accuracy.
3. A specially designed integrated valve assembly for high-speed forging is employed, offering rapid pressure build-up and relief, sensitive response, and flexible control capabilities.
4. The equipment is capable of performing a variety of open-die forging processes, including upsetting, punching, drawing, finishing, and the forming of ring-shaped forgings.
5. The equipment can be integrated with a forging manipulator to achieve automatic workpiece clamping, rotation, positioning and forging, thereby improving production efficiency and automating the forging process.
